More work to get going than a 250.00 frame but double stacks are getting hard to find! Made a .45acp and my son-in-law was impressed and he'd hard to impress !!

Grip holes are in the wrong place

Posted by Tremayne on Oct 27th 2020

I purchased this frame 3 weeks ago and when I tried to put my grips on it, nothing lined up. My grip holes are 1/16” different from side to side. I’ve emailed to get this issue resolved but we will see how it goes. As is, the only way I can use this frame would be to drill out the threads it came with, weld the hole and install my own grip bushings. The rest of the frame looks to be of decent quality but I’m pretty disappointed about the screw holes. Especially after the long wait for delivery. For reference, my right side measures at 3 3/8” from the top of the top hole to the bottom of the lower hole. The left hole measures 3 5/16” from the top of the top hole to the bottom of the lower hole.
