When armor coverage is your primary concern but weight is still a factor, the Testudo Lite™ Gen 2.0 armor plate carrier has you covered.
Named after the Roman army’s defensive formation, the Testudo Lite is a slimmed down version of our Testudo, but still comes ready to provide you with the maximum coverage you expect from our Testudo, right out of the box.
The Testudo Lite still accommodates both 10”x12” or 11”x14” body armor of any type. Its fully-adjustable cummerbund and shoulder straps are still versatile enough for large or medium body types, and there is still plenty of PALS webbing for attaching your MOLLE-compatible accessories.
Even so, the Testudo Lite weighs 1 pound less than it’s “full-featured” namesake, by eliminating the bulk and weight of the padding and 3D mesh, the Velcro on the PALS webbing, and removing the side waist straps and buckles (meaning it can only be used with the cummerbund).

The Testudo is our flagship and has everything you need, right out of the box. The removable cummerbund sports integrated side-armor pockets, and the low-offset shoulder straps mean the rear plate pocket rides at the proper height.

Return Instructions
If you would like to submit a return, please fully read the Return Policy above, submit a claim within 30-days of receiving your items, and follow these instructions:
Email us at Support@AR500Armor.com to have an agent review your request and see if you qualify for a return. If you qualify, please use the link provided by the customer service agent and go to the “Submit a Return” form on our Shipping and Returns page of our website to submit your claim.
Provide your name, email, order number, ticket number, and the reason for your return.
An agent from Returns will review your claim and send you a confirmation email stating it was received along with a digital copy of a return label and instructions. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the credit amount.
Upon arrival and inspection of the product, within 3-5 business days, you will either be issued a store credit, or an exchange of product will be shipped out.
