Some people hate this gun, but that's their opinion. Their preference doesn't change the fact that individuals that complain about it, are usually using the wrong ammo. I've seen review videos of people using that cheap wally world ammo that doesn't meet the minimum velocity recommendations. If you break the gun in by pulling the bolt back for a month and use heavier loads of at least 1 1-4 oz, you shouldn't have problems. Never had a problem with this gun when using the correct ammo. My issue lies in the bigger capacity magazines, they seem to not want to feed. Never experienced an issue with the 9 rounders. I've added a muzzle break and a recoil pad and this gun works flawlessly. Absolutely fun to shoot and doesn't have issues when utilizing the correct ammo. Especially heavier loads. Keep the gun clean, and follow instructions. And stop dissing this gun haters and in fact do what the instructions state. Break it in, if pulling the bolt back doesn't work for you then I would use heavier and faster loads. After break in, its not an issue. If it was easier to work with lighter loads I would've given it five stars other than that I rate it as 4/5.
