Excellent item
I put purchased this for my 10 year Old basic GI 1911, all I needed was a new extractor. No grinding or fitting was needed (although not the norm) this is a great upgrade for my old eyes

ROCK Standared Full Size 45 ACP Slide
Bought this slide hoping to fix the failures to feed or extract/eject when using an older COLT slide on my "Frankenstein" 1911. Slide arrived and tried on frame first before transferring slide parts. Seemed to slide on frame so I proceeded to transfer slide parts. At the range, started with just one round then two, and then up to 5 rounds per magazine. No failures at all!! Very happy with this purchase. Price is reasonable when compared to other slides out there. Sights are black on black (not my favorite) but applied orange nail polish to front sight to give me better visibility of it. Finish feels like a black parkerized finish. NOTE: I cleaned the slide before transferring parts over to it to remove some minor residue from shipping.
